• Terms and Conditions

    Please read these terms and conditions carefully. You must not accept any booking or pay a deposit unless you understand and agree with these terms. Payment of the deposit or invoice, or any part thereof, is deemed to be acknowledgement and acceptance by you and your travel party of the terms and conditions as set out below.

    PAYMENT TERMS

    As a single villa, we have a strict payment and cancellation policy. You can cancel at anytime up to 30 days from arrival without penalty. There are however no refunds if you cancel within the 30 days. If there is an unforeseen event preventing you from travelling, we may offer a credit. If we don't receive full payment prior to 30 days from your arrival date, we will reopen our inventory and your booking may be lost. 

     

    Check-in within 30 days of booking

    Full payment is required within 48 hours of confirming a booking.
     

    Stays of between 1­ – 3 nights: 

    Full Payment is required within 7 days of the booking.
     

    Stays of 4 nights or more: 

    Final payment due 30 days before check in

     

    No bookings will be guaranteed until payment is received. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to receipt of full balance payment.

    Currency

    We can invoice you in a range of currencies including AUD, USD, GBP and EURO. All payments will be calculated on our banks exchange rate for the day of invoice issue. We have an Indonesian Rupiah account, an Australian Dollar account and also a USD account and prefer bank transfers. Payments in other than USD or AUD can be made by transfer to our Indonesian Rupiah account.

     

    Bank account details will be provided at the time of booking.

     

    Credit Card payments are accepted and a link will be sent in your invoice to take you to a secure payment page. This incurs a 3% surcharge and will be invoiced in your currency using our banks exchange rate. Pay Pal is also accepted and incurs a 5.5% surcharge. Please note your bank may also apply additional charges for international payments.

    Changes to Bookings


    Changes to a booking period can only be accepted upon availability of the villa. If your new period falls in a different season and a higher price applies, you will have to pay the additional cost. If your new period falls in a different season where the rental price is lower, no refund will be paid. If your new period is longer than your initial period, you will have to pay the additional cost. If your new period is shorter than your initial period, no refund will be paid. You should take out proper travel insurance to cover both changes to and cancellation of your booking and it is your responsibility to do so.

    Cancellations and Refunds


    Notice of booking cancellation must be received by Villa Khaleesi in writing. Deposits will be refunded in full, less 30% of the total booking value if the reservation is cancelled 61 days or more prior to arrival in low season and 91 days or more prior to arrival in high and peak seasons. Cancellations 60 days or less before arrival in low season and 90 days or less before arrival in high and peak seasons do not qualify for any refunds. Please note that no refunds are made once final payment has become due.

     

    Travel Insurance

    Villa Khaleesi recommend comprehensive travel insurance ( including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage). By making a booking you are agreeing that Villa Khaleesi is held harmless by you and your party against all claims including any accidents related to the use of the Villa facilities or locally procured third party services such as, but not limited to watercraft, water sports, jeep or motorbike rental and further agree to indemnify both Villa Khaleesi against all such claims.

     

    Villa Khaleesi shall not be responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as civil disturbances, fires, floods, severe weather, pandemics, Acts of God, acts of Government or any other matters that cause a change to your travel plans.

     

    By making a booking you are accepting all terms of your booking and it is assumed by Khaleesi that the requirement for travel insurance has and will be complied with in full.

     

    Travelling with children - Pool Safety

    If you are travelling with young children who are unable to swim, we require you to hire a pool safety fence at at additional cost. By making a booking you agree Villa Khaleesi is held harmless by you and your party against all claims including any accidents related to the use of the Villa pool facilities.

    Liability

    Under no circumstances will Villa Khaleesi be held responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim or injury either directly or indirectly, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, however caused or incurred, whether arising in contract or otherwise in law or equity as a result of rendering of the services or accommodation as described or substituted and including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing as a result of any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s), or change(s) in the provision of services or land accommodation by Villa Khaleesi or by reason military action, revolution or “acts of God”, or by any agents, employees, subcontractors, servants or third parties whatsoever supplying any of the services or accommodations herein or as substituted. If any accommodations and/or services are substituted, Villa Khaleesi at all times will act in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with accommodations and/or services or a type comparable to those originally contracted. Villa Khaleesi at their sole and unfettered discretion reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any person(s) and/or to second any contract for accommodations or guests services.

    Respect for our Property

    Please advise us of any breakages immediately. Please do not take away any items from the property at the end of your stay, they do not belong to you. Any items missing will be charged to your account and if not paid for in full, be considered as theft. Do not sit on the glass table top. Any breakage as a result will be charged to your account.

     

    Please treat Villa Khaleesi and all its fixtures and fittings with respect. Any damage will be charged for. If guest’s behaviour is found to be unacceptable, we have the right to terminate the rental immediately, no refund will be due.

    Conduct and Behaviour

    The person making the booking with Villa Khaleesi is responsible for the correct and appropriate behaviour of the guests staying at the Villa. Should any member of the party not behave in such a manner Villa Khaleesi reserves the right to revoke accommodation and you may be required to vacate the property immediately. Illegal substances must never be brought to Villa Khaleesi by yourself or third parties. Any such conduct will be immediately reported to the Indonesian police.

    Valuables

    Any valuables left at the property are left at one’s own risk.  Neither Villa Khaleesi, the owners or the staff will be held responsible for their loss or damage.

    Other Information

    Health
    You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel and ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Please check with your local doctor or specialist vaccination clinic.

     

    Travel Documents
    It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re­-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities is your sole responsibility. All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel which for Indonesia requires at least 6 months validity from the date of entry.

     

    Additional Note:

    These terms and conditions and the contract entered into between the booking party and the Company are governed by the law of the country of the residence of the person making this booking. By making a booking you are agreeing to your residential country’s law as the governing law of this agreement and further agreeing to any disputes related to this agreement to be heard by the appropriate local Court with jurisdiction in the same booking party’s country of residence. In addition, where jurisdictional rules provide any breach of this agreement or illegal acts may also be reported to Indonesian government authorities including the Indonesian police and civil and criminal proceedings to Indonesian courts. If a dispute arise, all parties must first make good faith best efforts to resolve the dispute amicably and except for criminal actions agree not to initiate court proceedings until after 3 months from the date written notice of the dispute is made to the other party.
